API versions and scope
Use the version in each operation path, even when the product release is called V2.
Route versions
Most public operations use /api/v1. Numeric verification and retained OCR preparation use the /api/v2 paths listed in this reference. Product release V2.0.0 did not move every endpoint to a new prefix.
The API origin is https://api.webcite.co, without a trailing /api. Use the full path shown on each reference page.
Public and account-scoped workflows
This reference covers the API-key-facing operations in the public OpenAPI. /api/v2/context workflows use account scope and separate availability controls. A deployment does not automatically enable graph retrieval, research, generation, or OCR.
